SUVRETTA HOUSE - ST. MORITZ situated two kilometers outside of St. Moritz, offers breathtaking views of forests, mountain peaks and the lakes of the Engadine Valley. At the heart of the Gornergrat skiing/hiking district, the luxurious Riffelalp Resort offers a unique alpine panorama, while benefitting from the favorable microclimatic conditions.

This historic hotel was built between 1878-1884, but was completely destroyed by fire in 1961.

December 1, 2000 marked the opening of Riffelalp Resort 2222m, reached by the Gornergrat Railway, offers a peaceful place and all the services and amenities of a modern five-star hotel. The Gornergrat Railway station is just across the road from Zermatt's main railway station. The first morning train leaves Zermatt at 6:45am in winter and 8:20am in summer. The last train leaves Zermatt at 11:30pm From 8:00am to 6:00pm the train runs every 24 minutes.
