Women’s presence growing in hotel boardrooms.

The issue of diversity, and the lack of it, has popped up frequently in recent conversations with leaders in the hospitality world.

Grey-haired white men continue to be the largest faction of leaders sitting around most hotel company boardroom tables. The good news is that a lot of these companies are self-aware enough to recognise that the composition of their leadership needs to better represent their customer and employee bases.

Pan Pacific returns to Australia’s East Coast.

Currently operating as Hilton Melbourne South Wharf, the hotel was acquired by Pan Pacific Hotel Group’s parent company, Singapore-listed UOL Group, and will be managed under the acclaimed Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts brand. The opening of Pan Pacific Melbourne on 28th July 2017 marks the brand’s return to the country’s vibrant east coast and it will be its second property in Australia after Pan Pacific Perth.
