THE AMERICAS

Dave Sibley has been named Chief Operating Officer at White Lodging, replacing Keith Daub, who plans to retire. Sibley was most recently serving the company as Chief Executive Officer.

White Lodging has named Ken Barrett Chief Executive Officer, replacing Dave Sibley. Barrett was most recently serving the company as Chief Financial Officer.

Richard Stockton has been named Chief Executive Officer at Ashford Hospitality Prime in Dallas, taking over from Monty Bennett who remains Chairman of the Board. Most recently, Stockton served as Global Chief Operating Officer, Real Estate at Carval Investors.

Gary Schweikert has joined Grace Hotels as Head of Americas. He was formerly the Regional Vice President and Managing Director of the two Trump properties in New York City. Schweikert is also a former President of Jumeirah Hotels USA.

Patrick Horstmann has joined Montreign as Vice President of Resort Operations. He was most recently serving as General Manager at the W New York Downtown. Horstmann is the former General Manager at the Roger New York and the Nolitan New York.

Rudy Sharp has been named Vice President Hospitality at Telluride Ski and Golf. He was most recently the Vice President and Regional Managing Director at Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa.

Jonathan Wolfe has joined Plaza La Reina in Los Angeles as General Manager. He is the former Hotel Manager at the Oceana Beach Club Hotel in Santa Monica and Director of Front Office at the Viceroy Santa Monica.

Darren Pound is now in Santa Cruz as Vice President and General Manager at the Dream Inn for Woodside Hotels. He was most recently Director of Hotel Operations for Destination Hotels.

Jim Morrissey has been appointed General Manager at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson. He is the former General Manager at The Gwen Chicago, the Westin Snowmass Resort & Spa, the Sheraton Music City Hotel, and the Sheraton Nashville.

Gregg Harper is the pre-opening General Manager for the Hotel Becket. He was most recently serving as General Manager at the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort. Harper is the former General Manager at the Oxford Inn in Bend, Oregon.

Winfred Van Workum has returned to New York as General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park. Van Workum had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Jumeirah Essex House before becoming the Director of Food and Beverage and Hotel Manager for the Ritz-Carlton South Beach.

Christophe Chauvin has been named General Manager at the Hotel Christopher St. Barth. Chauvin is the former General Manager for the Hotel Byblos in St. Tropez.

Brian Wells has been named General Manager at the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. He was most recently General Manager for the Hilton Durham.

Christine Hodder has been appointed Managing Director at the Bequia Beach Hotel. She is the former General Manager of the Stafford London and the Puli in Shanghai.

Russ Cronberg has been appointed General Manager of the Boar’s Head in Charlottesville. He had previously served as General Manager for the Callaway Gardens Resort in Georgia.

Brian Wells has been named General Manager of the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. He was most recently the General Manager of the Hilton Durham in North Carolina.

Nancy Chacon has joined the Four Seasons Baltimore as Hotel Manager. She was most recently the Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Buenos Aires.

Heinrich Olckers has joined the Sunset Tower Hotel as Director of Operations. He was most recently serving as General Manager at the Inn at Perry Cabin by Belmond.

Anthony Evangelista has been named Director of Operations at the Loews Hotel San Francisco. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Omni San Francisco and the James Royal Palm.

Mike Saeidi has been named Director of Finance at the Resort at Pelican Hill. He was previously in the same role for the Carmel Valley Ranch, the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa and the Grand del Mar.

Matt O’Keefe has been named Chief Technology Officer for Hotels at Carlson Wagonlit Travel in Minneapolis. Most recently, he spent three years in the same role for Hyatt Hotels.

Roger Perez has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo. He had previously overseen food and beverage at the Century Park Hotel Jakarta and the Atanaya Hotel Bali.

Ted Peters has been promoted to Vice President of Culinary at Remington Hotels in Dallas. He was most recently the Culinary Director for the group as well as serving as the Executive Chef at Azurea.

Garret Fujieda has been named Director of Food and Beverage at Suncadia Resort. He was most recently serving as Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. Fujieda is the former Executive Chef for the St. Regis Houston.

Kevin Delonay has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Westin Riverfront Beaver Creek. He has been with the resort for more than seven years, most recently serving as the Executive Chef at Maya.

Tim Arnold is now overseeing food and beverage at the El San Juan Resort and Casino. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort.

Jeffrey Converse has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Miramonte Resort & Spa in Palm Springs. He was most recently with Aramark at the Anaheim Convention Center as Beverage Operations Manager.

Kimberly Atkinson has been appointed Director of Human Resources at the Hotel Durant in Berkeley. Atkinson was previously Director of Human Resources for the Hotel Zelos San Francisco.

Lourdes Harkins has been appointed Director of Human Resources at Doral Arrowwood. She was previously area director of human resources for Destinations Hotel & Resorts, based at the Tarrytown Estate and Conference Center.

Larry Tsoumas has been named Director of Marketing and Sales at the One&Only Palmilla. He was previously overseeing sales and marketing at the W Seattle and the Four Seasons Santa Barbara.

Chelan Goonetilleke has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler. Goonetilleke was most recently in as similar role at the Four Seasons Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.

David Shenman has been promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing at the Lotte New York Palace. He joined the hotel in 2012 as Director of Sales. Shenman is the former Director of Sales and Marketing of the Jumeirah Essex House and Director of Sales for the InterContinental New York Barclay. Cornell graduate Megan Ferguson takes over for Shenman as Director of Sales.

Tim Dupree is the new Director of Sales and Marketing at the Line Hotel Austin. He was most recently in the same role at the Hotel Granduca Austin. Dupree had previously served in sales and marketing roles with the Montage Beverly Hills, the Hotel Bel-Air and the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Frank Pierce has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Zemi Beach House in Anguilla. He was most recently serving as National Accounts Manager for Resorts World Bimini.

Victoria Priester has been appointed Director of Marketing at the Duval Collection in Key West. She was most recently with the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.

Tulio Baruch has been named Director of Sales and Marketing
at the Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya. He was previously the Sales Director at Nizuc Resort and Spa.

Gene Smallwood has moved up the coast to join the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel as Director of Sales. He was most recently in Huntington Beach as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Shorebreak Hotel.

The Four Seasons Scottsdale has named Chuck Kazmer Executive Chef. He was most recently at the Four Seasons Amman as Executive Chef.

The Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara has named Marco Fossati Executive Chef. He is the former Chef de Cuisine at the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh and Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley.

Marcus Stewart has been promoted to Executive Chef of the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail. He had joined the resort in 2015 as Executive Sous Chef.

Devin Bozkaya has joined the Weekapaug Inn as Executive Chef. He had previously served as Chef de Cuisine at the Altamarea Group, overseeing Campagna and The Barn at The Bedford Post Inn.

The Pendry San Diego has named Paul Piscopo Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef at the Mina Group’s Pabu and the Ramen Bar, both in San Francisco.

Peter Lafer has been named Executive Chef at the Willard InterContinental. He was formerly the Executive Chef at the Royal Sonesta Houston, following eight years as Executive Chef of the InterContinental Houston. At the Willard, he takes over from Serge Devesa who is now the Executive Chef of the Argyle Club in San Antonio.

Vincent Wallez has been named Executive Chef at the Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya. He was most recently in the same position at the Nizuc Resort and Spa.

Paul Hancock has been appointed Executive Chef at Miramonte Resort & Spa. He was most recently the Assistant Director of Culinary Experiences at the Camby in Phoenix.

Marck Banagan has been appointed Executive Sous Chef at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. He was most recently serving as Executive Chef at Tacolicious in North Beach.

Sue Drabkin has been named Executive Pastry Chef at the Glenmere Mansion. She was most recently in a similar post at Red Bird Restaurant and the former Executive Pastry Chef at Troquet in Boston.

Andrew Gullixson has been named General Manager of Georgie in the Montage Beverly Hills. He was most recently the Assistant General Manager at the Border Grill at Mandalay Bay.

Christian Philippo has joined the Chateau Marmont as Restaurant General Manager. He had previously overseen Otium, Redbird, and Republique.

EUROPE

Jason Wischhoff has been appointed Vice President Development, Europe & Africa at the Dream Hotel Group in London. For the past four years, he had been with Accorhotels as Vice President of Development, UK & Ireland, after serving five years as a Senior Development Manager for the UK, Spain and Portugal.

Thomas Greenall has been named Commercial Director at Bespoke Hotels. He has been with the company since 2011, previously serving as Financial Operations Manager and the General Manager of the Grosvenor Hotel in Shaftesbury.

Francois Arrighi has been appointed General Manager of the Four Seasons Megève. He is the former Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons George V. Arrighi is a household name in Megève where he was the General Manager of Les Airelles for six years.

Marco Novella takes over from Stuart Johnson as Managing Director of Brown’s Hotel London. He had previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Grace Hotels, General Manager at the Villa San Michele, and the Hotel Baglioni London.

Richard Leuenberger is now in St. Moritz as General Manager at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel. He was most recently with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as Area Director of Operations, Asia Pacific.

Florence Poli is now in Paris as General Manager at the Hotel Raphael. Poli was most recently the Assistant General Manager at the Hotel Le Richemond in Geneva.

Florian Broemel has been appointed General Manager at K West Hotel & Spa in London. He was previously the Hotel Manager at the Lancaster London.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has promoted Pascal Roult to Director of Hotel Marketing, Europe. He had joined the company in 2011 as Corporate Director of Revenue Management & Distribution – EMEA.

Naveed Mohammed has been appointed Regional Director of Sales – Middle East, at the Aman Group in London. He is the former Assistant Director of Global Sales at Rocco Forte Hotels.

Michelle Wharton has been named Commercial Director ­ Sales and Marketing, at The Hari, London. For the past three years, she had been at the Marriott County Hall as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Niall Keating has been appointed Executive Chef at Whatley Manor in Malmesbury, replacing Martin Burge. Keating is the former Chef de Partie at the two-Michelin Restaurant Sat Bains.

Markus Savage has been appointed Restaurant Manager at at HIX Mayfair in Brown’s Hotel in London. He had previously served in similar roles at the Wolseley and the Delaunay.

The Four Seasons Geneva has named Thomas Hachem Director of Rooms.
He was previously with the Four Seasons George V as Front Office Manager.

Tim Williams has been named Group Human Resources Director for Grace Hotels, based in London. He was previously the Head of Human Resources for the 31-property strong Aman Group.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

David Spooner has been appointed Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific at Preferred Hotels & Resorts in Singapore. Most recently, Spooner spent four years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts.

Mark Choon has been named General Manager of the Peninsula Manila. He was most recently overseeing the Peninsula Tokyo.

Stuart Johnson, General Manager of Brown’s hotel in London for 11 years, is moving to Shanghai to open a new property for Rocco Forte Hotels set to open in 2018.

Maria Jagla has been appointed General Manager at the Four Seasons Bora Bora. She is the former General Manager of the Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh.

Colin McCandless has been appointed General Manager at the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake. He was previously the General Manager of the InterContinental Adelaide.

Pan Pacific Hotels has named Romain Chan Area General Manager, China, and General Manager of the Pan Pacific Suzhou. He had previously overseen the Pan Pacific Ningbo.

Duncan Maclean has been appointed General Manager at the Anam Resort Nha Trang. He is the former General Manager at the Riviera Beach Resort and Spa and Amiana on the Bay.

Simon Barnett has been promoted to Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Sydney. For the past two years, he had served as Director of Marketing for the hotel.

The Peninsula Tokyo has named Richard Sorensen Hotel Manager, succeeding Mark Choon. Sorensen is the former Hotel Manager at the Peninsula Chicago and Resident Manager for the Peninsula New York.

Vincent Prioult has moved to the Peninsula Chicago as Resident Manager. He was most recently Director of Rooms for the Peninsula Tokyo.

Robert Friedl has been named General Manager at the Okina in Honolulu. He is the former General Manager at the Sebastian Vail.

Joseph Lee will take on the role of Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage at the Peninsula Tokyo. He had previously overseen food and beverage for the St. Regis Bangkok and the Raffles Praslin.

Anthony Tschudin has been named Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage, at the Ritz-Carlton Macau. He was most recently serving as Director of Food and Beverage at the Siam Kempinski, Bangkok.

Giovanni Palmaccio has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Rosewood Phuket. He was most recently in the same position at the Langham Shanghai, Xintiandi.

Hugh Whitehouse has been promoted to Executive Food and Beverage Manager at Federal Group Tourism. He was most recently the Executive Chef at Saffire Freycinet in Coles Bay, Australia.

The Four Seasons Macao has promoted Lilian Lee to Director of Marketing. She joined the hotel in 2012 as Director of Sales.

Patcharee Meethong has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon in Myanmar. She was most recently at parent company Chatrium Hotels & Residences as Corporate Director of Sales.

Kelly Eichholtz has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental Wellington in New Zealand. She is the former Director of Business Development at the Hilton London Bankside and Director of Sales and Marketing at the Crowne Plaza London ­ The City.

Gérald Ursulet is now the Hotel Manager of the Grand Hyatt Beijing. He was previously the Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food and Beverage at the Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi, the Director of Food and Beverage at Grand Hyatt Incheon, and the Director of Food and Beverage at the Park Hyatt Sydney.

The Peninsula Tokyo has appointed Massimiliano Ziano Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef at the Park Hyatt Seoul, the Grand Hyatt Shanghai, and the Park Hyatt Saigon.

Gaetan Biesuz has been named Executive Chef at the St. Regis Langkawi. He is the former Executive Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Krabi.

Todd Adams has been appointed Executive Chef at Saffire Freycinet taking over from Hugh Whitehouse. Adams was most recently opening Executive Chef of the Next Hotel Brisbane.

Darren Watson has been promoted to Executive Chef at Caravelle Saigon. He joined the hotel in 2010 as Executive Sous Chef.

Meret Brunner will assume the position of Director of Rooms at the Peninsula Tokyo, replacing Vincent Prioult. She was most recently the Front Office Manager at the Peninsula Bangkok.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Simon Casson has been promoted to President, Hotel Operations, Europe, Middle East and Africa, at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. He was most recently overseeing the Four Seasons Dubai.

Leonardo Baiocchi has been appointed General Manager of the Four Seasons Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, replacing Simon Casson. He was previously overseeing both the Four Seasons Istanbul at the Bosphorus and the Four Seasons Istanbul at Sultanahmet.

Bernhard Haechler has been appointed General Manager of Shangri-La¹s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa in Mauritius. He was most recently Vice President and General Manager of the Shangri-La Dubai.

Mark Griffiths has been appointed Regional Vice President and Managing Director of the Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi. Griffiths is the former Senior Vice President Operations ­ Middle East and Africa with Kempinski Hotels and General Manager of the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa.

Armin Weller has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager at the Al Ain Rotana in Abu Dhabi. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager of Al Ghurair Rayhaan and Arjaan by Rotana, Dubai.

Matt Barber has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Johannesburg. He was most recently serving as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Denver.

Rohinton Bharucha has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Warwick Dubai. He is the former General Manager of Bombay Gymkhana and Director of Operations at Good Food Concepts.
