Move aside wine tourism, say hello to Whisky tourism.

Whisky tours, fast becoming popular in Scotland has accounted for over a million tourists and a tourism spending of 25 million pounds in 2008.

Investments into visitor centers by distillers has led to this surge and enthusiasts and novices alike get to enjoy general tours, masterclasses held by distillery managers which, more often than not, allows them to sample rare bottlings.
