Wednesday, 21st November 2007

Exclusive 4hoteliers readers competition: Did you know that 80% of Central London hotel guests either arrive or return to their hotel by licensed taxi?, Or that 96% of London's licensed taxi drivers stop for the first person they see?

Getting spotted on a ‘first come- first serve’ basis for collection can be frustrating for would be taxi travellers, doormen and concierge alike. However, there is a clever new device out there in the market place, known as the ‘Taxi Hailer’.

A Taxi Hailer is a credit card sized product that assists the user to hail a cab in the street quickly and safely.

How it works
Using a energy efficient super bright LED flashing light, the Taxi Hailer is simple to operate. Given that the most common method of hailing a taxi in the street is by raising a hand, the taxi hailer embraces this international body language.

You hold the hailer in your hand and with this product you are spotted in a FLASH. A taxi driver can sees you clearly and can identify you as a passenger.

Tested by those in the know:
The Taxi Hailer is a product that is starting to take the London hotels by storm. Concierges and Doormen at some of London's top hotels, restaurants, clubs and casinos are saying great things about this invention.

Among the London Testers are: Milestone Hotel Kensington, Wolseley Restaurant Piccadilly London, The Ivy London, Browns Hotel London, Mandarin Oriental Knightsbridge, City Inn Westminster, Annabels Club, Hilton Hotel Green Park London, Palm Beach Casino.

'We have been testing the Taxi Hailer since last week, and it is fantastic, the porters are finding it very easy to get cabs now, the drivers are responding straight away, and we will be buying six more for our department, good luck with this in the future.' Said Tom, Concierge Hilton Hotel Green Park London.

'As a hotel concierge I think that these are a great, clever and safe idea'. Simon, Head Concierge Browns Hotel London.
'The Taxi Hailer is a very effective way to hail a cab in a busy street', says the Doorman at The Ivy, London.
'The Taxi Hailers great, It's made cab hailing much easier', Barry the Doorman at the Palm Beach Casino, London.
'Looks like a great device that would be welcomed by our loyal customer base. I wish I could give them away to the really good clients'. Stephen a London Cab Driver.'About time someone came up with a good idea like this'. David, Taxi Driver Paddington Station.

Whilst a lot of busy cab drivers are wanting to give away this nifty device to their loyal customers, 4hoteliers has been given the exculsive opportunity to give their loyal readers the opportunity to win their very own Taxi Hailer.
